Doggie transport... in the IS... LOL
I know I bought the WRONG car for having a dog, but hey, I just couldn't deal with the soccer mom SUV any more, I had to get the IS I have always wanted!
So, I'm wondering if anyone here transports their full size dogs around in their IS? He's a golden retriever.
I was thinking of just putting a really thick blanket down in the back seat. I want to make sure the seats are protected and the dog doesn't claw the leather..
Any suggestions/ideas?

This is the best way to bring the dog and he never touches the car seats. You can also use it in any vehicle. Works GREAT!

I have a medium sized australian shepherd. What I do is put her carrier in the backseat and she just sit in there.
1. doesn't mess up the interior
2. she won't be running around
3. loose hair is mostly contained
that's my solution, but if you have a larger sized dog, a carrier might not fit in the backseat.

That's awesome, looks like there are quite a few options. My dog likes to move around a lot, so I definitely need something that is attached and stays put. I like the schnauzer in the photo, so cute!
