'09 IS250 (My first Lexus)
Hey guys I just leased my first Lexus just a few days ago.
It's a 2009 IS250 Black on Black. It has a spoiler and 18" Alloy Wheels.
Thing is I'm a total noob when it comes to Modding cars. I'm so in love with this ride and I want to put rims (19's, 20's) ?? Thing is I really am not sure which ones to put.....
Can any of you guys give me some suggestions? Should I put 19's? 20's? What brand works best with the IS250? I live in South Florida, where's a good place to get some good rims at a decent price?
I also want to put the Front, Side and Rear lips to it. I will be putting on the tints in the next few days....
Thanx in advance for any help.

go big or go home...20s FTW. Plus you in S.FLA so there are plenty of choices for forged 20s. Check my boys over at MC3 forged in the vendors section...they running some promotions on new wheels and located in Kendall area.

Congrats! Which rims are best for the IS is purely your call and subjective. Good luck!

Just purchased a 2009 IS350 myself with all of the goodies. I'm in the same boat as you with regards to new kicks. I want to get 19's as I think the 20's are too big unless you want a killer drop. After all of the reading (several hours daily for over a month- slight exaggeration) I think 19x8.5 & 19x9.5 are safe with an offset of 35 or higher. 225/35, 255/35 seem fine with a drop to prevent rubbing. Personally, I'm going with the fsport wheels and a mild drop. Can't decide if I just want the fsport springs or BC Racing coilovers. Most will say to go with the coilovers, but I don't ever plan on adjusting my height after installation and I'm not looking to slam my car. The fsport spring drops 1" front and .8" rear. If you slap on 19's with that drop, the wheel gap will be minimal. I also plan on the intake and the sway bar. That's about all of the mods I'm planning. Oh also the WALD Spoiler is KILLER! It's so sick!!! Trying to decide if it's worth over 1k to purchase and have it molded. Search for a Wald spoiler and you'll see what I mean.
