I'm gonna go against everyone else and say WHEELS!

Why? Get wheels and springs since springs are cheap. Then get coils later to replace the springs.

^^ Disagree fully. Go coils and do it right the first time around. No sense in paying for labor (unless your going to do the spring install yourself) twice. I went springs and wish I went coilovers.

Your stock struts are only going to last so long with springs. Your asking them to work in a range they weren't engineered to. My wife's IS250awd was dropped on H&R's and the struts blew after only 7K miles!

I'm just waiting for them to blow on my IS350...

My post was based on the assumption he would do the springs/coils himself. I would.

Still a waste of money, your going to end up selling them for half the price and get coils sooner or later haha

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I'm going for the Megans! Any recommendations for installers in SF bay area? My local mechanic wants 320. Is that reasonable?

No it is not, limitless motorsport only charges 200 but if anything. I would do it myself, it's really easy and straight forward lol

don't go spring
I know lots of people who got springs and eventually moved on to Coils
so, I say do it right the first time, and trust me, you won't regret getting Coils
once you are set, get rims to complete the look

installation is not that hard, so if you like do to DYI, I say go for it
