X package/Sport Package
What changes are made to "stock" suspension on these two options, lowering springs? f springs? f sway bars? other? And are the changes the same on both X and Sport?

Yup, sport springs and shocks... the springs are 10mm lower in front and a bit stiffer all around... unlike the F-sport springs they are linear (which is better IMHO)- no changes to the sway bars at all.
Sport suspension parts are the same on X and Sport packages, you just get a lot of other extra stuff in the sport package.

I agree, the sport suspension from the factory is a nice setup, that's how my IS350 was delivered.
A couple of weeks ago I changed to Eibach 350 springs (essentially F-sport springs) with progressive spring rates and was pleasantly surprised by the reduced body roll and added stability in high speed sweeper turns. Of course most people choose the Eibach springs for the look (about 1" lower), but there is some handling improvement that might show in track testing (of course that's academic). Edmunds tested a IS250 with F-sport suspension and got favorable results without a big degradation in ride quality.
