Default 09 tail lights

i just saw 09 isx50 yesterday for the first time.
the tail lights are better than the ones i have (07)
can the 09 tail lights fit my car??

Yes they will fit and there's a member trying to get rid of his 09 parts for 06-08s

Yes the swap is easy. You just have to cut or bend a piece of the trunk in order for it to fit on the pre09s. If you have any questions PM me.

I swapped my '07 IS350 with '09 tail a couple of weeks ago. Yes, it does fit with a bit of cutting, not a lot. '09 Looks GREAT and the design flows better with the body lines IMO.

After half a model year on the road, I've concluded I like the 09's better during the daytime and the '06-08's better at night. Funny how opinions change the more you see something.

When you take out the inner tail light there's a pocket that holds the light, on the pre09s there is a extra piece you have to cut or bend (we just took a hammer and bended it to fit) its really easy. I should have taken pictures. 1-10 on a difficulty scale it would be 3 (1 being easy)

I think its the part that I put in the square that you have to either cut or bend. I didn't have to do it, the guy who I swapped with did. Not sure if he wants me to post his name here.
