DIY molding rear lip to bumper?
Hey guys, i'm pretty sure there's not much info on molding rear lips to the bumper but is there anyone that have a DIY for another car for example? Or a place to look? I have a spare rear lip and bumper that i'm going to tackle this summer. THanks!

u wont get a good look unless its done at the shop Tim. its not easy work....
simple way.. screw your lip to the bumper with small screws at small intervals. (polyurethrane)
shave off tips of ur screws. fill will fiberglass resin... let it dry. keep going again, let it dry, and keep going.... then when tried sand it down.. then paint.

What UV said is pretty accurate. But often a body shop will use fiberglass cloth/mat along with the resin to give it more strength. It's doable but hard because the bumper is flexible and fiberglass isn't. So often times, it will crack at the molding seam. Back when I did a lot of car shows, I'd see a lot of lips molded to bumpers with cracks in them. So if you do this, be prepared for high maintenance. I never molded a lip to a bumper for this reason. I did however have the bumpers on my wife's car molded to the body which actually worked out ok.
