I had the same exact problem when I got my kit (I have a different kit then the Volt kit...not sure if thats what you have), it was because I got grounded the cables on paint...so sanded some paint off and no problem ever since.

hah k cool :P i was all worried cuz i just ordered a kit from xenondepot a couple days ago.

Sucks that you're having issues though... if your OEM bulbs work no problem i would hope that they would replace the ones you bought as they clearly have some sort of defect.

Actually this is already a replacement pair for the ones I bought a year ago. Kudos to Xenon Depot and Steve's wonderful customer service. I feel bad this 2nd set is having problems.

Hi Guys,

jkwan18 & Floorance are 100% Correct. All that happened was that they received our older D4 bulbs by mistake as they were mixed in with the newer bulbs. Again guys, I sincerely apologize for the mistake. It was nice speaking with you and I truly appreciate your understanding. Your replacements will ship out right away!!!

H1t4m - I never heard from you. If you are experiencing a problem (assuming you bought from us) please send me a PM with your order information right away.

Steve

Couldn't Agree more, just wanted to say I ordered 3 sets of Volts kit along with these bulbs, all work great and I've had zero issues with any of these kits.

Considered ordering some 6000k bulbs from Xenon Depot since they touted quality for their their premium pricing. With all these people having quality issues, will probably go elsewhere...

The amount of the same type of quality issues people are having is unacceptable. Much thanks for the heads up folks.

As far as I know XD has already taken of the problems and for the new batches of their light bulbs they work perfectly without any issues. If I can choose again I would definitely choose XD because of their excellent customer service. It's hard to find a place that would take care of the problems right away like they do.

S to the K,

I completely understand your concern however the issue here is not a bulb quality issue. The issue was a result of some members receiving the wrong product. These people have also been contacted and proper replacements are en route.

We HAVE NOT had any failures from our second batch of D4 bulbs.

Steve
