clay bar is a very good way of getting rid of contaminants you can't see. it's very good for your paint too, as long as you use it right.

you should get your car detailed professionally by a person who knows how to really polish...

Procedures:

1) Used Blue Coral Wash concentrate (Not Pictured) and soaked the whole car. water down, and re-soak. Water down again.

2) Dry with absorbent towel and microfiber
3) Use Meguiar's Deep Crystal Polish System throughout car.
4) Light buff by hand with microfiber
5) Use Ice Clar Bar throughout the whole car, one section at a time, using Ice Clar Bar Lube
6) Then i used Ice Liquid Claybar again circular motions by hand, then light buff with microfiber by hand.
7) Use Meguiar's Deep Crystal Carnauba wax throughout the whole car, circular motions by hand, then use 6" electric Buffer with microfiber throughout.
8) Use Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax 2.0 throughout the car over the Carnauba. 6" Electric Buffer.
9) Used Meguiar's Quick Detailer in areas that needed more attention.
10) Windows were wiped down with purified water, microfiber dried, then air dried with a hairdryer. Then RainX was applied 2 layers.

overall.. give or take, 2.5-3 Hours.
No particular reason, and no upcoming shows, just felt like washing the car

BTW I do have Shamwow, but it sucked.

The Claybar can physically get rid of some scuffs that you can not remove by wiping down. But, mostly Claybar will get rid of all the crap on ur car that you can you see, but can feel. Overall, it is VERY helpful.

I've used both ICE products and Meguiar's and i can say they are both pretty competitve. I've swapped them on and off but mixed them together this time.
Cost i believe, is around the same. Try to pick them up when they have sales.

The Liquid Clay Bar from ICE is surprising pretty unique and it does work, sorta, like a clay bar, but nothing beats the actual bar. When done right, the claybar can actually remove fingernail scuffs beneath your door handles. I only quickly did it, did not try to get rid of all, knowing it will be dirty again by next week.

Regarding the exhaust: thanks, they will be moved back to flat side by side for custom bodykit purposes. the slanted angle will not work with the kit.

The Crystal White color (062) is overall easy to work on, since it is a light color, but after polishing and wax, the pearl and sparkles do come out better in the light, especially sunset.

also, pix were taken after paint and windows treatment, i continued after to do rims, tires, and exhuast and lighting.
for Rims - i have chrome mirror like rims, so i sprayed it down with purified water and wiped clean with microfiber.
Then used the Meguair's quick detailer to touch it up and wipe it down.

Tires were dressed with Black Magic Tire Dressing. Exhaust and lighting were cleaned with the quick detailer, windex, and rainx (for lighting). I couldve haev gone forward with Mother's chrome polisher, but i did not have one with me at the time. Mother's Chrom polisher is highly recomended for any chrome products.

My exhaust setup is custom. no resonator, comes out from secondary cats, and x splits from front of the car dual pipe all the way to rear. and exits out to dual exhausts on both sides, at a slanted angle (swapping to flat to fit custom kit) as a quad exhuast setup. actually IMO, sounds as good or better than Wald, and costs less.

i also have a exhuast dumpout near the end of the setup allowing the exhuast to go straight pipe when the dump-plates are removed.

Bumper was cut by a dremel to fit the exhuast. if you want mre pix or info about my exhaust you can PM me.
