Default Sticky Steering Issue

Sup ladies and gents,

Now I was browsing in the forums and came across some steering issues regarding the steering becoming too stiff at low speeds. Now I have a little dilemma and I am wondering if anyone has come across this. I have an 08 350 and during highway speeds (50-65mph) around a long corner my steering wheel seems to get stuck or becomes sticky. When I get out of that corner it almost snaps out of it. Not very much but it seems like I have to fight it just a tiny bit to losen it out. I already took it to the dealer and they took it for a test drive but of course it wouldn't happen (sigh typical). So if anyone of you who have experienced this or have any sort of info let me know. Thanks

I have an 08 that is not covered by the recent recalls for steering issues.

I too have noticed that while turning into curves it seems to "stick" and I have to force it back to dead center. More a 45-55 mph thing and haven't really noticed it at higher speeds. I tend to think it's something with the electric power steering.

Edited for clarity.

Yep I have complained of this issue since day one, and no one on here has any idea.

My '06 does this too, though like AtlantaGuy I've noticed it at lower speeds (usually around 35-40 mph), not on the highway. I noticed it more when the car was new than I do now -- I'm not sure if it is doing it less, or I've just gotten used to it. This issue has come up a few times over the years in this forum, but nobody has come up with a fix.

hmm interesting..what I think I will do is take it for a test drive with the mechanic. Hopefully they can set it up like that. And when I find out I'll let you guys know.
