I agree, it was more of a Satin Black as it still was able to reflect some light...

Not that it really matters much, because his car is now JDM Purple...

TRUE MATTE or FLAT Black Finishes will not reflect any light...

Either way dust particles & water spots are enemies to these types of finishes...

its nice to know that somebody else on here agrees with me. As for all the haters, i honestly don't care.

It's one thing to say that you dont like my car, but its another thing to tell me that "im getting a primered car". I respect and value all of your opinions, thats why i am on here, and thats why i posted the very first pics i could find. Whether you guys like my car or not, i know that at the end of the day, you guys wont sugarcoat anything, and tell me exactly how it is. Thats why i posted on here in the first place.

Anyways, i wouldnt quite compare me to IRC romeo, but if thats how you see it, i cant really say much.

Regardless, thanks to everybody and their comments. I'll have other pics up in the near future.

If anyone's interested, I can wetsand your black or gray car and give the same basic look for much less. With plane ticket, I'll do it for around $1,500. Such a deal!

Plus, as an added bonus, I can polish it out if you ever tire of the dull look, and your car will be shiny and orange peel free!

Man, the way i see it, if u like it, eff it, enjoy it, dont bother wasting ur time gettin all pissey that ur fellow haters... er i mean... CL'ers dont like it. Clearly its not some peoples thing, this a forum and people are over opinionated, esp if ur asking for their pov's.

Skip the hate, at least it's a somewhat original car around here.

I'm not feeling the flat black. If anything, I would like a matte finish better. How do you maintain the flat finish anyway? Can you wax it?
