Default Tint question for tail light.^ ^

I have a question.~^^

I tired to tint taillight with precut tint sheet, I could set it up one side which

is factor of trunk.

But, how can I tint the other sides of trunk tailllight?

The reason is that there are some angles on the taillight. Even though I tired

tightly with hair dryer, but I couldn't stick the precut tint sheet on the

tailllight.

~!!
I need you guys help!!

You gotta stretch the tint to fit it right!! Pull slowly. If it doesnt work, just smoke it out

if you got the ebay one, just forget about it. If you want to tint your tails, get it done right professionally. It will looks so much smoother and better.

The vinyl will shrink or wrinkle under heat...

it's all dependent upon individuals. doesn't mean you have sense. and LOTS of CL members have tinted taillights, so you'd be saying a lot of CL members have no sense, which is not true. and to answer the question of the thread, when you do the taillight overlays, you gotta make sure you have someone helping you with the blowdryer. heating up the overlays while pulling on it helps to make it a lot easier. if you have any more questions, PM me. but if i were you, I would do it yourself with some valspar plastic paint and what not. the overlays look cheap and you can see a lot of abnormalities up close. tinted taillights look very good IMHO. good luck with it, requires help and focus.

Just because MANY CL members have tinted tail lights, doesn't mean they have sense. If you see the people with *clean* cars, they either get the IS-F tail lights, or red overlays only. The "murdered-out" look for the IS (or for any car) is just not tasteful IMO. Not to mention that it reduces the visibility of the lights. (illegal in California)

your comments are not in any way helping leokcm. you are basically saying he has no taste in his own modding. try helping him first before you go on and criticize him please.

you are using some kind of solution to soak the overlays correct? because you need to do that. and make sure you get all the bubbles out from underneath or it looks bad up close.

I think aerotect's smoked vinyl is the easiest one to apply/install. Thats because Aerotect's has a cut for the top piece of the headlight, so you don't have to really stretch the vinyl like the ebay's one.

If you want to smoke, i would suggest smoke spray by professional. So much smoother and its reversible.
