Your dealer lies. Most do.

(now, if it's worn down far enough, it will have to be replaced, but that's true of any rotor. Ask for the measurement of thickness, I bet it's not that worn).

They will change the -feel- of the brakes though, making them less grabby, and more linear and predictable... which most would consider a good thing.
Yes, this is correct. The brake *feel* may be different but the actual braking distance will not change, so long as the brakes can engage ABS. The TSB does mention that the new, less dusty pad, *may* reduce braking performance but they have to put than in as a liability for the .0000001% of drivers that actually perform constant, continued, high speed braking in witch the brakes *may* go into fade and be unable to engage ABS. However, even under these conditions, it is still highly unlikely.

I had my brakes replaced under the TISB and I like the new brakes from the dust perspective, however, I found the replacement brakes to be less aggressive (perhaps its an illusion) but the car feels like it takes longer to stop...just my thoughts...

You answered your own question. It's an illusion, it "feels" that way, but it's not actually that way.

The laws of physics make your observation impossible. The formula to compute stopping distance doesn't ask what kind of brake pads you have, because it has no relevance to stopping distance.

The brakes don't stop the car, the tires do.

Nope. Brake pads have 0 impact on stopping distance so long as they can engage ABS.
