Why does it have to give that impression? When I see a car that's de-badged, I just simply think "clean". I de-badged my 250 but if anyone ask, i'll let them know it's a 250. I just like the way it looks. I de-badged my evo too, does that mean I was trying to look like a regular lancer?

Rather than get into the old discussion on debadging, let’s just say that I believe that it can give that impression. My belief is based on the fact that when I see another IS the first thing I look for is whether it’s a fellow 250 or a 350. If there’s no badge I think, “Ah ha!”-- another self-doubting 250 owner.

It's a pretty dead giveaway when you look at the brakes when you're tryin to differentiate betwee 350 and 250...but I mean some people just aren't that attentive to those kinds of things. And the de-badged look, MOST OF THE TIME is to make the rear end look more clean & symmetrical, I mean that's why I did it. I'm a big fan of symmetry.

if you searched before doing it you would've known through the many threads it has been discussed in lol

get them filled!

here goes the debadging argument again... they're other 350 members who debadge so when you see one what do you say? a "self-doubting 350 owner" who wants to be like an is-f? comon now.. at least we aren't replacing the badge with something the car is not. now that gets thumbs down.. a 250 putting on a 350 emblem. bah. i hope they crash for trying to be 2 fast 2 furious..

there are no self doubting is250 owners, we are all pround and happy with what we drive. I think most of the time it's just to give that clean look. However, if you see a regular isx50 with "F" logo all over it, and tried to even modify to fit the f bumpers on, then that's a self doubting is250, or a wanna be is-f
