dude thats horrible. What were you thinking when you said okay to putting the climate control on the door.

p.s. your fiberglass doesnt even match your dashboard.

To each their own guys, he just wanted to show us his mod, he did it, he's proud of it & there's nothing wrong with it, if he's happy then so be it, different things make us happy. Nothing wrong with his preference.

I almost wish the climate controls were left where they are supposed to be. Doesn't any aftermarket company make a bezel that actually allows you to get a double din without losing the climate controls?

its all one unit so you dont have a choice. I think someone mounted something lower (where the power outlet area is) so it left the radio/controls in the original location. I guess if you could find a shop to take apart a unit you get from a salvage car and try to make it work? There really isnt to many options for this car due to everything being integrated together.

Was the option of yanking the factory radio out and moving the climate controls in its place instead of the door ever considered? That way the aftermarket GPS would be up top and the climate control at the bottom..

not to mention this probably cost you more than if you were to just opt for the NAV unit that lexus offers...then you wouldn't have the climate unit in your door..........
