Default IS-F or IS 350 f-sport

I have a 2008 IS 250. I want to trade it in and get and 2009. Can't decide whether to get an IS-F or IS 350 f-sport
IS-F stock
or
IS 350 f-sport ( w/f-sport performance exhaust, f-sport intake, f-sport clutch & shifter, f-sport sway bars front & rear and f-sport shocks and
springs and f-sport body kit.)
I was at SEMA in vegas and I test drove both the IS-f and the IS 350 with all the f-sport accessories. And, I did notice a difference.
The F-sport 350 drove better except for the h/p in the IS-F.
What ya all think ????

I think it depends. The IS 350 F-sport is a wonderful logical step from the 250 and more than enough car for most. I think it drives and looks fantastic.

The IS-F takes it to another level with the big engine and of course with its different exterior cues and interior. Its rarer and clearly M3/C63 etc competition.

This is a question I struggle with too. New though, a loaded 350 with all the F-sport parts is pretty much the cost of an IS-F with the deals you can find today.

What are your priorities?

I've owned both. Get the F. It's worth it.

BTW, have fun with the F-Sport clutch and shifter thing...I wouldn't get the 250M.

IS-F would be a better deal... you many things that are like getting the F-sport parts on the IS350.. but u also get a larger engine, better transmission, more supportive seats, ect.

The hood on the IS-F looks ridiculous and the fake quad exhaust and kit are boy racer affectations. I say, get the IS350 and pocket the loot. Most of the F-sport stuff isn't worth the money they want for it, however, I voted IS350 F-sport but would say Is350 x-pack.

This post belongs on m3post....I pray to God that this doesn't become another 335 vs. M3 discussion.

They are both good cars for different reasons....choose what fits your needs closest.

I voted for the 350. You can get all the f-sport goodies here from a vendor for a fairly good deal. Yea the IS-F is a monster and is in a league of its own but it's kinda pricey imho. =/

Is350 ftw. Add the f-sport parts yourself. You'd be crazy to pay the dealer to do it.

i say get the ISF for steering feel. i have both and i wish the 350 was more like the F in the steering department. i love my 350, the way it looks, actually a little more than the ISF. mpg is about the same. 8 gears really helps with that. no ventilated seats in the ISF. the ISF seats are more supportive though. if you decide to get the 350, get the x-package. i regret not doing it. Illuminated door sills, stiffer suspension and front spoiler lip. If you are leaning towards the F, prepare yourself for some speeding tickets

If your budget allows for an IS-F then I'd say go for it.
