Snow and VSCS....
We have had our first snowfall here in TO and am wondering if I am the only one who turns OFF the traction contol? I find it doesn't let the snow tires do their job and is a pain in the *** going up hill if it's on. It's brutal shifting out of first with it on ............ however the snow traction assist work's nicely with the VSCS OFF......... and no I don't have crappy snow tires on either..

It's not a bad handleing car at all in the snow if you drive acorrding to the road conditions. The issue I have at the moment is that you have to be at a full stop to turn off the VSC........ not fun when aproaching a snow coverd hill. You just can't pullover and stop and wait six seconds to turn off the VSC it's not practical or safe. You lose all momentum and will just spin your wheels starting back up the hill.
Just my two cents........ I'm sure someone has had a better experience and will explain their situation. My previous car was a BMW 528i and the VSC could be turnned off or on at any time while moving or not.
