I know this isn't a "Lexus" look what I got today, but I'm excited and wanted to share..

So my local bike shop gave me a killer deal on a 2012 Trek Fuel EX 9.9 carbon fiber mountain bike frame that hey had hanging around for several months. The owner had purchased it to build out a super nice mountain bike. However, he decided to build a 29'er instead. The frame just happened to be the same size as my 2011 Fuel EX 8. In February I upgraded the drive train to Shimano XTR (w/XT crank) and purchased a new wheel set from Stans.

So.... I bought the EX 9.9 carbon fiber frame and had all my upgraded components placed on the new bike. Bought a new set of forks, carbon fiber seat post, seat, carbon fiber stem, and carbon fiber handle bars.

I put all my original components back on my Fuel EX 8 and will sell that as a complete bike. In the end, the upgrade is going to cost me about $1500. Definitely worth it!

Finally got around to buying some F-Sport license plate frames. I saw different variants on here and online but the dealership had these for a good price.

Now time to put the rear bbk on. They wouldn't clear with my current wheels. I'm thinking about doing takata green.
