currently i've had my IS for 2 years and 7 months and has 53K on here.

a lot of things will depend if i keep her or not, my mian goal as of right now is to get into an IS-F in roughly 8 months.

a lot of it hs to do with a job and my career, i will graduate this may and depending where the job is and the living situation as well as commute will depend if i keep it.

as of now i'm thinking of keeping t a daily driver, and then getting an F on top of that to play around with. so i got the car i keep putting miles on and the one i can play with on the weekends.

in 5-7 months i'll know what i will be doing, but damn i do love the IS line.

Predicted length of ownership in many cases does not equal actual length of ownership.

Exactly.

More than likely, I will unload my 350 before the new 2012 model comes out, projected in late 2011.

At that point, I'll have to decide what to get. From a financial standpoint, I always purchase a vehicle that's a few years old for the depreciation hit. So in 2011/12 I'll be looking for a 2009/10 car.

At this point, the only car that catches my interest is the 2010 Audi S4. I like the idea of the good power, solid gas mileage, and with tuning potential with the supercharger. I'm just concerned about Audi reliability. I have friends with A4's that had all sorts of problems, including engine issues.

Also, maybe a used S5? Gas mileage is a concern on the S5 as a daily driver.

Not sure yet...

Is there an option for >10 years? haha
My family gets reliable cars that we take care of, and in the end, they continue being great and reliable for years. The last vehicle my family got rid of in the CARS program was 14 years old, the next one will be >15 years old.

My Lease is through March of 2012. I am looking to get out of it near end of 2011. Want to upgrade to 2009-2010 CTS-V, M56, or M5 when done by 2012 or so.
