No, I didn't even take off the calipers for the front or rear. On the rear, I took out the brake pads only because I was replacing them anyway. I just covered up using plastic bags everything that I didn't want overspray to come in contact with. It was very simple...

what did you not spray black??? so in essential.. u covered the discs on the frnt.. and then spray away?? is that true enuf?

I covered the discs and the surrounding suspension components. Also, the openings on the calipers where the pads are exposed were also covered up to avoid paint from getting on the pads.

Nice! I just got finished painting my calipers tonight! Can't wait to put on the stickers tomorrow and the wheels back on!

^ Why didnt you tell me! We could of done a group project.

Anyways, Do you need a special decal? One that stands high temps or just normal ones.

No, the decals can be ordered through www.bombgrafx.com. The paint must be caliper paint or high temp. engine enamel. After painting the caliper the color of your choice, apply the decals. Then, finish off with a high temp. clear coat. Duplicolor makes all the paints/clear coats that you will need.

yes i will do the same but in different colors. Just got to decide what color combo. for brakes and letters.

Duplicolor-can be purchased online, or at Checker's, Autozone, Pep Boys. The paint is really easy to find locally.
