yes it is... you can't simply add the oem cover since the 06-08 is larger than the 09 mirrors... you would have to replace the entire mirror assembly which would cost over $1000

IMO the aftermarket solution which looks JDM-style is a better design (no chrome part and bigger lighted area) not to mention it's a cheaper route.

The 09 250 Manuals also got VDIM now along with the regular TRAC and VSC...... if that's really of anyone's concern.
