With the violations you were ticketed for, I'm guessing you're looking at around $600. By the way, what city was this?
yea tell me about it man. my plates and smoked tail lights are correctable. my exhaust isnt...so gay. this was in encino, CA. wat a great way to kill my sunday huh.

thanks everyone for wishing me luck. we will see wat happened when i go to court. im getting my car out today, also my licence renewed and already have my insurance card. but man it sucked when i saw my car go on the tow truck. its 200 to get it out. the fix-its are gonna be 10 bucks. my friends sister is a lawyer and said i can argue the expired licence, but depends on how the judge is. the only issue will be the infraction of the "unsafe right turn" which is bs cuz i was in the right lane the entire time. ill keep u posted. im just glad to get my car back today

C'mon- it sucks, but expired license and no proof (it's not the cops job to verify it either) of insurance that pretty much gives Johnny Law provocation to throw every ticket he can at the dum dum. You cant blame the cops cause you broke the law.
And isn't the state of Ca pretty much bankrupt, they are gonna wright up every chicken s@!t ticket they can to generate revenue for the state.

wow looks like he was making a short list in his head when he pulled you over....all it takes is one pull over to kill all your mods with fix it tickets...as LittleE mention...I am careful with cops because of the risk I took on my front window tints as well...I would hate to scrape them off because of a ticket...hope you can get some removed with a leaniant judge..good luck

Look at the bright side, at least you didn't get in an accident with expired DL and no insurance card. I agree he could have gone easier on you, but it's not like he lied...every ticket is legitimate, right?

i least u didnt get locked up.. DONT get pulled over in TAFT, CA.. i got pulled over a few years back on the 5 coming back from LA to SF.. got pulled over in my friends car...

Driving on a suspended
Speeding over 100

which was actually really nice of the cop...

he could have gotten me for DUI and possession of illegal explosives also...

anyways.. long story short... i was getting locked up for a 2 year state sentence the next day.. went down to LA to party for the weekend.. went drinking and somehow ended up with 2 M1000 firecrackers in my pocket.. he let me and my friend go since my friend told the cop he had class in the morning.. so they called off the tow truck..

so 2 years later.. after filing paperwork to have all my traffic tickets dismissed while i was incarcerated.. i get a rolling stop sign and found out i had a $16,000 warrant for my arrest for a ticket in Taft, CA.

i show up for court.. the judge slapped on a failure to appear on top of the driving on a suspended and speeding... gave me a $4000 something fine AND 10 day county sentence.. haha..

moral of the story.. dont get pulled over in taft, ca... and dont be the only asian in a white hick town...

I guess I'm never crusing around Encino. It seems the officer bent over backwards to be a jerk and give you every ticket he could think of. What bad luck to forget your insurance card and have all these issues compound on you all at once. Good luck on resolving these issues. Keep us posted.
