I think that's the key... the rear seems to look fine at close up but at a certain distance the rear just look ugly and vertically fat.. making it more narrow would definetly improve it.

Your first post says you want it wider and now you want it more narrow.....

I actually like the rear of the 2IS, looks a lot better than the 3 sedan and the C-class.

I was one of the first to get it (Dec. '05), but I was not gouged. I Special Ordered my car and pre-negotiated a price.
