Gradual Mods...
Redouts and bumper plugs on the way.
Next is the Tanabe Sustec Pro Five coil overs.
Wife does not want it lowered.....hahahaha
...so the plan is to put them on set at stock height and gradually lower them over the course of a coupla months...
My excuse in buying the Tanabes is that I want to give her a softer ride...
Think this will work?

lol she will most definitely tell you get rid of your "softer ride" replacement of stock suspension with coilovers. have you ever riden in a car with coilovers? even if they are at the highest level, ride quality is still VERY noticeable. good luck tho

FYI - It can be a chore to make frequent coilover adjustments. But I'm curious why you would want coilovers vs. aftermarket springs. Springs will give you a similar ride to what you have now, and most give a reasonable drop. With the Pro-5s you can't slam it all the way to the ground anyway, so hopefully this wasn't your goal.
And what would your wife be more upset about - the fact that you lowered your car on springs, or the fact that you dropped an extra $1K to lower them close to the same height on coilovers?

LOL.. good idea. But remember to set it on medium when she drives. Or when she pisses you off set it on HARD(stiff) and give her a tough time, as long as she doesnt know you can mess around with her when she drives. Super funny. I just got my couple weeks ago and where the best coilvers I own so far. Good luck! And MONTGB, I dont think he's planning on slamming his car any time soon! lol

Coilovers = I'm 1 click away from getting caught and not being able to avoid that Judo Chop to the neck by wifey.

Just kidding...It sounds like it might work.
