Default GFX Kits

I found this guy off craiglist i dont knwo if he CL member or not. He got a brand new GFX kits in the box for sale. I was just wondering is there any emblem on the Kits i can check or whatever way to make sure it is the authentic OEM GFX Kits from Lexus????

there should be some stickers with the color codes on them

There are no emblems on the kit. How much is he selling them for? The paint on the kit should match your car almost perfectly. That might help distinguish it from the knock offs.

he probably bought during the fire sale last month for $200 for the full kit from sewell.

You can still get it for about $300-$350 for the full kit from Sewell if they have your color. Check the Market Place section of the forum.

They come in Lexus boxes with a sticker of the paint code on the back side. The rear comes with extended exhaust tips.

Ask the seller to send pics of the parts in the boxes. Check if they have Lexus logos on them. Ask them to take pictures of the stickers on the boxes to verify authenticity.

Actually it shouldn't and probably won't. Since they are pre-painted there is no way they will match perfectly. Any prolonged exposure to sunlight will change the paint.
