Default Input Please.....17" wheels

Hey all.......... I have stock 16" wheels at the moment that will be used this winter and want to go to a 17" in the summer. I would like to get some recomendations from you all and some pics would be greatly appreciated. What I'm looking for is something with a lip and not a lot of show in the brakes.

Thanks..........

I recommend that you at least get 18s if not 19s.

yeah you shouldn't get 17", not that big difference, and if it's with a lip it will look even smaller.
18" will be nice.

Not to compare apples to oranges but when I had my BMW 528i the stock wheels were 16's and when I whent to the 18's the ride sucked.

You are comparing apples to oranges. Tire choice and PSI have a large part of controlling the ride as well. Why not ask the many members on here running 18, 19, and 20s how it affected their ride?

If ride is paramount in your decision then the 17s would most likely be your best option. I'm very happy w/ the ride my 17s give.

18s just look right on these cars, especially w/ the large rear end.

Yes I agree the 18's are a sharp look. I am looking for ride comfort as my first priority, not to be picky but 19's and 20's can't be good on a car that isn't set up for it.... (sport pakg).

Cheers........

I'm on 19's and I'm lowered on fsport springs and ride like stock. It all depends on your tires mainly... Go 18s at least. I have 16" stockers too.
