how could that be? I read many reviews from others with the same setup as yours and they rub like crazy
it's amazing that you don't rub. what's the trick?
btw how's ride quality and comfort with 20's?

There's no trick, seriously.. there is no gain for me lying to you. I had no spacers in the back and no rubbing issue I put 5mm spacers in the back no rubbing issue. now not all tires are the same and I will tell you how I know this.. I had a set of 19X8.5 in front before and 19X10 rears . and the tires I ran where Vredestien 265/30/19 for the rears. one of the tires blew out so I decided to swap one out for a new tire and I would get the other side replaced in a month or so (by the way ride difference from 19 to 20's......no difference what so ever.) any ways so I got a Falken I believe it was the FK452 or something like that. The difference is night and day. The Vredestien 265/30/19 were wider than the Falken tire 265/30/19 same size different brand but the Vredestien was wider than the Falken tire. and when I say night and day I mean night and day. so now here is why I do not rub it is because the tire I am running on my 20's are Falken tires, so they run narrower than other name brands. so trust me or don't trust me you are hearing it first hand from some one who is living it. Oh and my opinion I would go with the 20's, I regreted getting 19's than losing out on money just to get 20's. and ride quality, trust me none what so ever. good luck.
so were you saying you rubbed with previous Vredestien tires? and no rub with the Falken of the same size?
how can I find out which tire is wider and which is narrower?
I was looking at 225/35/19 F Yokohama S-drive
and 265/30/19 R General Exclaim UHP

not really sure how you could tell unless you put the 2 side by side. but yes vredestein was wider than the falkens and yes they were the same size tire.
After doing a search I found this related topic. I have a 2nd GS300 that I want to put a set of 20x8.5-20x10 GT1s with a 20/25 offset on. Im curious to know if these will fit and want to know what tire sizes I should run. thx
I have the GT 1 wheels on mine, ordered them in chrome and had my painter spray the middles. I didn't care for a polished lip, it makes a world of difference.
