just make sure you have patience and do it slow. Also, you want to hold the spoiler as close to the bolt as possible.

question: does the trunk refuse to say up now that there is added weight of the spolier there? just wondering as i have experienced head bumps from the trunk closing on me on my other cars. it could be that the springs are pretty solid on our cars to begin with which i hope.

the whole package, including the spoiler was not even 1.5 lbs....(shipping weight)

so no, the trunk opens up fine with no change. Especially because our trunks have hydraulics..

Yank away. The abs plastic is pretty strong and thick and the bolts are just molded to the top 1/8" of it. You might have some loose pieces and chads of the plastic hanging around. I just removed all of it and put a piece of double sided tape over those 3 areas to make sure that the spoiler doesn't scratch the trunk. Good luck!

I too bought into the Sewell group buy. Haven't decided which way to install. Don't want to mess things up

You can find the tape at Home Depot or Target. It's the tape with the red backing that's rated for 5lbs.

Drill the holes...Why are you going to put tape? It's not like your going to be swapping spoilers every month or year...or are you?

drilling holes can be nerve racking, and it's really not necessary,.
