It was a package w/ the exhaust..you got the rear grnd effect w/ the exhaust. I work for TMS and part of the lease program, it is a package you can get w/ it. I got to pick my port installed options, but did not get to pick any factory options. Next time I get a vehicle, I will be ordering it myself, and not picking one that is readily available at the time.
Actually waiting to see the convertible. I ask almost everyday regarding updates regarding the vehicle. The latest I have heard is May 09......and then it will debut in LA, for the auto show in November 08. The convertible would be great in FL. And I want 6 speed manual transmission. That is the biggest thing I do not like about not picking out my own....I dislike automatic transmission...zzzzzzzzzzzz!
Do you work for TMS?
I work in Logistics Operations, and yes, I am at the port where the ships come in to Jax from Japan.
Thanks for the welcome. This site is great and has a lot of info in it.
I just read this part and I heard that the port is a good place to work. I am currently downtown at the ATT building on West Bay Street. I'm going to a meeting Oct 7th to see what jobs are offered at the port, if the money if right I might be see you around more!
vboy418......Literally where did I get my car? You will love the answer. I drove it to the dealership I work at the port, so I saw it come off the ship, and I got to watch the port installed options (spoiler, xm radio, back grnd effect & exhaust) all get installed on it. I also just added window tint about 2 months ago. The pictures I showed were when I first got it in Dec 07. I did my paperwork through Lexus of Jax, because Orange Park was not open yet.
If you come to the port for a job, I would assume it is for SET. There are only 3 TMS guys here including myself. We actually only deal w/ the Lexus here, because SET handles the Toyota vehicles. Lexus is fun
Shoganai - thanks for the comments regarding the pictures. The beach pictures were taken in Clearwater, FL. I thought it would be a good background setting for the vehicle.
