Touch screen doesn’t work
#31
I don't think nav hack got to do anything with the screen. I had this problem in my car after having the car for 1 year and half. Another friend of mine had this problem 3 months ago... We tried to find solution through the internet visiting professional shops who do nav hack and fix car audio...etc they couldn't fix it.
We went to Lexus dealer and changed our Navigational system and that's after 2 months of waiting....
When they will replace your screen don't worry your saved points will still be there...

My Navigation touch screen doesnt work either and my warranty is up. I live in Southern California and Lexus dealer in Torrance Quoted me $6000 to replace the unit (retail) stating that they hadnt heard of a problem like this. Because everything else works and only the touchscreen is out. Then a friend of mine that works for Honda called into Lexus Corporate and asked them what they could do on my behalf and was told that theyd examine the unit, and if they found that the screen was faulty due to "liquid damage" they'd fix it for $3000. But if it wasnt liquid damamge theyd fix it for $1000. Then Ironically 2 weeks later at my friend's Honda dealership someone traded in an "07"IS350 with a defective touchscreen that was outta warranty also. He told me that the honda dealership sent it to an aftermarket shop and had the screen replaced for $800. Along with all the other recalls Toyota/Lexus are issuing The touchscreen should be one of em. Khattanh3 How did u get the dealer to replace your unit with it being outta warranty? If any one can give me some advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanking you in advance

My advice, the $800 route would solve your problem and prevent it from reoccurring.

Thanks aesthetk1 for pointing me to this post (coming from https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ml-screen.html).
I have the same issue and mine started adjusting the A/C as well. I'll be visiting my local dealer this week (car is under warranty), I'll post results in the other thread.
