Sorry if this is a re-post, if it is please feel free to point me (link me) to the post. I searched but didn't find exactly what I was seeking.

I have a 2007 IS250. I hear that installing the Illuminated Door Sills are pretty much plug and play. Can anyone who has installed them confirm this for me? I have no experience with wiring and or electrical work. If anyone has any photos of the install to share that would be great. Does anyone know if there is a PDF for the instructions online?

Yes, plug and play. It's really simple! Just pry open your original sill's and plug-in the new ones and snap on. The 2007 models have the wire harness on them already so there's not re-wiring that needs to be done.

oo where can i get the illuminated scuff plates? and do they come with the white or blue lights?

you can get them at sewell, i think they have them in both blue and white leds.

^ yea phil, is 06 plug & play? other threads say now, so how did you do yours so fast?

from what i've read only the 07's and up have the wiring harnesses ready inside. that way you can just replace the doorsill without needed to splice wires. that's why 07+ models can be done in 10 minutes.

IIRC it's plug and play for all 07+ cars, and only for Sport Package 06 cars
