finally got it in the mail today. i didnt know it would actually be legit, but its great. My friend gave me some printout of electrical diagrams a few weeks ago and the ones on the cd are an exact match, plus oodles more of info. Also i subscribed to the toyotatechinfo site once and the information here looks the same. Now i just need to read and understand everything. lol

 

Sounds like a great file to upload and allow for download (LOL) kidding. Typically, cd-roms really allow for fast searches and offer more diagrams for parts. I assume you will be leading the DIY's from now on?

i found it on ebay. searched "is250 manual" and it finally popped up. ive been looking all over the place for this cd-rom.

 

i wish, i still cant figure out my seat deal. lol

 

The information on that CD may be good and it may not. You have no way of knowing if the information has been superceded because it is incorrect. This is why we subscribe to TIS. It is the official source, not some illegal bootleg of the information available some time in the past on TIS.

If this tool does not require Adobe SVG, it is definitely out of date. I would not bet my car on this information.

 

after a days subscription at the TIS site and comparing the material i obtained and the info on the cd i do not see a difference. Of course im not going to build a super jet engine boat racer from with this guide, but it does inform me on how install and uninstall certain areas i am tinkering with. even if it was a bootleg copy im content with it. one last thing, way to rain on my parade.
