hey do you polish before you wax or wax after polish? I am a newb to this.

You pretty much said the same order of process in two different ways. You either wax after polish or you polish before you apply your wax.

Makes me sick. I live in the metro Atlanta, GA area and since we have been in a drought the last couple of years there is NO outdoor watering, at least around Atlanta over the past year. This is pretty much the first car I have owned in my life that I can't even wash at home. I have to use car washes, which I really hate. It never looks as good as when you do it yourself. Or at least what I can remember since it has been so long. I think I was able to wash it maybe three times myself before the whole water thing went into place. Oh well, maybe some day.
