Question Fender Bender!!!

So yesterday was the worst day that I have had in a long time. I was on my way to work and decided to stop by the gas station which I normally dont do. Well I live on an army base. PT just got out so the traffic was nuts. Anyways Im behind this Coke van. I look down to reach in my purse and the next thing I know I was hitting the back of the van. So needless to say I dont know how to do two things at the same time. Now I have some scratches on my Dream car. It looked a lot worse than it actually was since I had the guys rubber all over the front bumper. When I finally got to work I got all the rubber off and you can just see a few scratches. But the worse part is right under the grill there is like a cut where the grill came down and went into the paint. So Im not sure how I fix it. Do I take it to Lexus or try a body shop in town? If anyone has any ideas of how I could fix it let me know. Thanks

Ouch, that sucks! Sorry to hear about the accident. I would say to take it in to a shop to get an estimate. Lexus will charge you a lot to get that fixed, so especially if you don't want to go through insurance, you should figure out how much it costs.

Sorry to hear! Check out your local forum or ask around for a good body shop. Are the scratches deep? If not, you might be able to buff them out. Lexus will just outsource the work, so you might as well find a reputable dealer on your own.
