I personally don't like it Get the Carson-Tuned, Blitz, or Blitz replica grilles instead.

or if you like chrome, check LX-mode or the new Carson Tuned grill.

I wouldn't call it rice... it's beyond that and more in the realm of Ghettofabulous or Vatolicious.

i don't think it looks rice, it just look really bling, maybe if you go for the VIP look it'll look even nicer!

I am the guy who bought that grille, and I have not installed it because I do not have the car yet. I like the way they look, but not on black or dark colors. I think it will look 10X better on the white one I am getting, but to each their own.

There was a reason why you got them in the first place. It's all about setting yourself apart from everyone else and changing things just for your own taste. I don't think they are ricey at all and really not that bad either.

There is really little we can do to tart up the front end of our cars; different color lights, overlays, etc. Most grille treatments, including blacking them out, don't improve the stock look, imo. I put a RaceMesh grille on the lower opening because I didn't like the black gaping opening on the stock setup. But it doesn't stand out, just adds a bit of texture to the front, and it looks like it belongs. Some like it, some don't. It's all personal on how you feel about it.

Is that the OEM front lip?

I saw this grill in person and the first thing I did was look for the nearest trash can so I could throw up...
