We were looking for a suv before we got the IS.
Love the look of the ML500 but after reading all the cat converter, window operator, and many more problems they were not considered an option unless they can slide a RX inside the MB shell It might fit.

Thats why you get a Benz when you have many cars to yourself... but then again if someone was to get a weekend car I don't think they would want to settle for just a C class...

in terms of reliability...

I suggest you visit the mercedes benz car forum...the types of threads found within the forums tell you a lot about the cars reliability...i.e I come to clublexus and hardly any threads are reliability orientated...however when i visit audizine...everyother thread is a question about different components failing...do your research is my 0.02
