So when you put your car in reverse and the side mirrors angle down, there is a rather loud noise kind of sounds like cracking. im not talking about the motor in there tilting the mirrors but recently i noticed a louder cracking noise. any input?

Only thing I can think of would be the positoning is off. Like the servo (what ever it is??) is trying to turn down more then its allowed? Just throwing that out there as an option. Have you backed up with window down to watch to see if the mirrors getting stuck or anything else?

Not sure what else you could do beyond that...If you havent messed with it then its best to go from there to the dealer and have them rule out what it could be.
