Im sure you will enjoy your Fit, its **** poor slow, but gets 35+ MPG and you can cram alot of stuff into it. Mine has hauled a set of 20" wheels and tires, a 50" flatscreen, all kinds of crap. people are always shocked at how big it is inside. I have had mine since the US launch and put about 50k on it so far..no major complaints. With gas prices the way they are my GS is parked most of the time and i cruise around in the Fit

 

Holy crap! 36k for a 2006? Retail blue book on my IS350 with 10,000 miles, Navigation, Mark Levinson, and luxury package was 34,995 and mine is an 07!

 

Excellent choice. I recently made a move too. I sold my Infiniti M45 and purchased the IS 250. I am very happy with the mpg on the IS, but no where near the Fit. Can't go wrong with a Honda. You'll probably sell this thing in a few years the same price you paid for it.

I wanted to do the same exact thing. I really wanted a Fit at first, but they were hard to come by and I didn't want to wait for it. Now that they're more readily available, I'm considering on doing the trade depending on how much I get for my car.

 

IMO the Cayenne is a very high maintenance car. Gas at best is 14-16 city. And we are talking 91+ octane. Plus when I first got the car. At around 16-18k I had to already replaced all four tires and a set of brake pads. Been to the dealer for electrical issues with climate,ele key not working,battery failure. At first it was a new and different car. I mean when I first got it no one even knew that porsche made a SUV. But for the good..... It feels very solid, handles great (for a suv),good power for a non turbo,fit and finnish feels expensive. My wife really wanted an SUV but nothing no huge. We were going for the X5 that day but stumble upon the porsche dealer because they had the cayenne on display. It was really a total impulse buy. I only knew a handful of info about the car at that time and I did no research prior.
so I bought the car by chance alone...very scarry at the time but the wifey wanted it so.....now its in the drive way. last advise....I paid for it brand new and out the door 73k.... find one a lease return or a year or two old...the depreciation is horrible....my year and mileage (2x,000) now will fetch in the upper 5x,xxx range. WTF...I mean a few years of ownership and I lost 15-20k of its resale value..felt like I bought a tv... lmao... good luck!

 

My previous car was a 1st-gen TSX (6sp); it was a lot of fun to drive.

 

i doubt the 0-40 is anywhere near the IS350's.. it takes it 9 seconds to get to 60..

 

the cayenne s or the tsx? because the cayenne s does about 6.4 seconds for the 60, and the tsx is a tad quicker than my awd, which isnt 9 seconds.
