Has anyone applied a vinyl cover on their 3rd brake light? Im curious to know if any light bleeds through the edges before I do this.

A friend offered me a vinyl cover for my 3rd brake light in the window (rear). Super easy to put on...i pulled the cover in less than a min and I should stick it on in the same amount of time. Its a black vinyl decal that covers the red part so the light will shine through the letters. After I thought about it, it kind of reminded me how some of you guys customize your plates and wondered if someone had already done it here and the result.
