Agreed, stretching to go to undersized tire is not desirable.

I agree, a great camera phone picture. And the wheels look great on your IS. What tire brand did you pick?

The tires are General Exclaim UHP. They were recommended and installed by samson at revision. He gave a great price and so far they are great quality tires.

Pricing looks competitive for these tires on Tire Rack site.

yea, ive only had them a little over a week and so far i would recommend them.

Just had my lunch break so i snapped another quick pic.

You can kind of tell from this pic that you can pretty easily fit 35 ET in the rear.

Or just go with the 255 rear tires when they wear out.

go 19x8.5 +35 front running 225/35-19 and for the rears go 19x9.5 +35 too running i think 265/30-19 lowered on coils or s-tech shouldn't rub that badly... or go 19x9.5 +45 plus some spacers... that would be good.. nice and flushed...

Im not positive, but If you do run 35 offset in the rear i think 255/30/19 is the biggest you would want to try with coils or even s-techs for that matter. i have 45 offset in the rear and dont know if i would be able to run 265 without rubbing.

I'm running +45 in the rear, with 275/30/19, dropped on eibach for the 250, ZERO rubbing..

Nice wide rear tire, takes full advantage of the 45 offset.
