Exclamation OCD = Reinstall

I recently purchased the blitz carbon fiber grill for my 07 IS 350. I installed it the other night and everything went smoothly. However, when I saw it the next day in better light I realized that the grill is slighty un-aligned. There is about a 1/4" more of chrome bezel showing on the left side then the right side.

To most this might not be a big issue, and most don't even recognize this but IT IS BUGGING THE HECK OUTTA ME!

For those not familiar there is a strong adhesive on the bottom side of the grill so it attaches flush with the chrome bezel. This is where the issue/question arises.

My question is how to fix this problem without damaging anything and with the least amount of work. I was thinking heat gun to loosen adhesive and then adjust but will the piece then loose all its adhesiveness and just pop off and look worse?

Any help/suggestions/good ideas would be appreciated. Thanks all!

dang your grille is basically taped on too? I guess all grills are like that. but for your question on how to take it off yes I would use a heat gun / hairdryer to loosen up the tape/adhesive. if you don't then you're gonna have to basically rip it off and then clean the remainder off and then re apply some 3m to the grille and could you post some pics up with the hood up? I want to see if your grill is the same as mine.

Yea, pics will go up Friday after work. I was actually thinking of showing some step by step pics on installing this grill (especially if I have to redo it) as well. When I first got it the directions were all in Japanese, thank god we have a translator at work!
