Lexus Alarm -- How Sensitive?
Okay so my wifes Tacoma got broken into last night. The f**ing a*shole basically shattered out the driver side window and stole her iPod and Navigation. She is really good about not leaving stuff out but I she definitely forgot last night. I think she learned her lesson.
I am curious, how sensitive is our alarm? I understand the manual uses the term "forced entry" but I have also read some instances where the alarm didn't sound. Anyone have experience as to what situations will trigger our alarm, like a shattered window?

Whe I went to go look at the car that I bought at the dealer, at one point, I went back to my car to get some papers. As I got out, the parper clip that I had on my papers poopped off in the direction of the IS 250 that was beside me. The alarm went off. Later, when the car was gone, I found my paper clip underneath and on the ground where the car was.
Other markets have them...

Oh, well i used to have a 02 Camry and it actuallt came with a glass breakage sensor, and to test it, if u tap on the glass with like a key pretty hard, the alarm went off, and this was the orginal security system, thought Lexus would have this setup on their cars
