the car is hardly dirty. i still have to remove the leftover sticky stuff from all the shipment tape . have 4 cars to wash. and all are garaged. plus, public transportation is nice to use too. so i don't need to wash each car as often, but the intervals between washing all cars is plenty. anyway, my other cars' rims are larger/less spoked so it never felt too tedious/long to wash, but for some reason, it took a long time to clean these stock is rims. so glad i didn't get bbs-style rims or those gazillion spoke type like the clk amg black hahaha

multi-pc mesh w/rivets has got to be the worst. i make it a point to start w/my vsxx before washing the car.

With wheel cleaner and a long wheel brush it is a snap!

I spend as much time on my wheels as I do on the rest of the car. Thank goodness for the air compressor.

No harsh chemicals touch my rims. Just car wash soap and water.

are you? I usually clean my car's wheels last... well not last but....

wash the car first and then wash the wheels then rinse both at the same time then dry...

figured if i washed my rims first and i am only using one bucket... anything thats dirty on the wheels would get in the bucket which once i use a different sponge i would technically be using dirty water to clean the body of my car.

It depends on what you are using to clean your wheels, some of the wheel cleaners out in the market instructs you to apply (spray) on cool dry wheels. So in that case you should do that first before washing the car.

Yes I would not use the same bucket to wash my rims if I was washing them first.

Before the brake TSB I used to clean my wheels almost everyday if it didn't rain. Now I clean them once every five days or so and when I clean them I need to set aside a whole 25 mins because of the mesh.
