The responses here are pretty funny. Considering the IS-F has not even been release stateside yet, the mere fact that we can order these things is an achievement in itself. Not only that, these parts are being ordered from Lexus Japan, which means they are being imported. Have any of you guys checked the MSRP for a stock set of IS tails? It's $150 each side. I agree with the fact that these things aren't cheap, but hey - these are OEM Lexus parts (which are never cheap to begin with) and like anything else new and hard to get, if you wanna play, you gotta pay.

Not to rain on your parade Javy...

But they are approx $116 each...

I agree with you mostly.. the market is NOT flooded with these and Lexus can set the price as high as they like...

These tails are currently only available in JP because the parts have been released there.. like you said...

It will be many months before they show up in the USA Lexus parts Distribution centers..

Wrong. I said MSRP, not "what you can get them for." Lets keep in mind that the regular IS tails have been in production for almost three years.

I can't justify paying this much just to have these before they become readily available. I guess I will just have to wait until later on in the year to get thse. I thought they would be at most $200 per side.

Agree, I like them a lot. I will just wait for better pricing. Waiting to mod just always seem to work out.

Get the red-outs, they look better. The IS-F tailights have that nasty reflection of the orange/amber bulb inside the housing which acheives little for looks. I took pics of it at the Taste Of Lexus this past fall. Sure, you can get the chrome bulbs that illuminate amber, but the red-outs look so much better. I don't knoew why Lexus did that to this great car. It was the only thing I did not like about the 2gen.

You can always change the bulb out to white or even red.

Yes we know.. its just the housing that sits with the fender.

Thats confusing??? How are you getting them for $230 for the set??

The current GB I see, is for $270.00 per side..

Let us know

Thanks
