I just got my 9006 hid kit and tried installing it. I thought it was simple enough, plug n play but it didnt work. I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong. I disconnected the batt then followed the instructions, turned the car on and nothing. I'm sure its something stupid but any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like install error. The plug that goes to the power source, flip that around and see what happens. Sometimes with these HID kits, the polarity is flipped around. I know this was what had happened with a kit that my cousin installed.

I'm on some 56k like interweb, wish I could look at the pictures, but this interweb owns me right now.

 

9006 bulbs, so you're installing the fogs? Connect the negative terminal of the HID kit to the positive terminal of the OEM harness. That also means positive to negative for the other wire.

The light should turn on when you turn on your car. I had to do this with my kit.
