G37 coupe dont know much about these yet. Some good/bad reviews so far. You can save yourself a bundle and just buy a Nissan Altima coupe..... if your going for looks.

Audi S4 or S5 Probably my favorite pick. I would have bought this if I didnt buy my Lex.

LET US KNOW WHAT YOU DECIDE ON
Well, I'm resurrecting this old thread to let you who might be curious know how "losing" my IS350 played out. Although my wife says I'm welcome to use "her" IS350 I bought last Saturday an '08 Corvette coupe. Velocity Yellow with Nav, etc. Yes, it is a manual trans. It looks very good beside the Lexus. Lexus/Toyota just isn't fielding many sporty cars right now and I had no time to wait. Thanks for all your support and concern. Corvette or not I remain a faithful and loyal Lexus owner and CL member.

How do you like the stick on that? IIRC, most people get the auto....which I don't quite understand.

If i were in your shoes, I'd try to rock a GS450h. Those are sweet rides.

I wish there was a mechanism so that dead threads automatically locked after, say, 30 days of inactivity.

Oops, did I say that out loud.

Oh my goodness. For all the people who own automatic Corvettes my apologies for the next comment. I just can't imagine a Corvette with an automatic trans. Even if the auto is faster 0-60 and faster in the 1/4 mile I could never do it. Maybe it is my age and the fact that as a young guy growing up in the late 50's, 60's only sissies had automatics. I mean a Powerglide or a "stick"? Fordomatic or a "stick"? Come on!!! Yes I've said it many times, I would have purchased my IS350 with a manual had it been offered. When my wife and I picked up our new ordered Lexus she was stunned that I hadn't ordered a manual trans. I told her I did the best I could and that Lexus didn't offer it as an option. 'Course the rest is history. She loves the Lexus even though she still flops her left foot down looking for the clutch and reaches occasionally with her right hand to move the "stick"

Sorry, I'm done!!

Nice choice on the Corvette and great color too. Those things are wicked fast. Watch them in the rain though... They will get loose in a hurry in the wet. Oh, you might want to start saving for the first tire change those Goodyear run-flats are pricey!
