not number 1. luxury motors has a bad reputation in the luxury car community. I actually test drove a 335i there and they said it was on deposit, but if i wanted it they would undercut the other guy. That is just shady.

wow so you guys think way too much money? I have been looking around for about 2 months and this is what they are going for. BTW #1 is completely stock, it was a lease vehicle, what makes you think there's anything aftermarket on it? The #1 does not have sports package I understand it has the luxury package w/the G-spider alloy wheels.

Why am i buying out of state?......b/c there are they are so rare around here and I want Nav w/ Lux or Sports with SGM

the dealer book value for #1/#2 is ~35,5k -- what would be a reasonable offer?

I'd offer $32.5K to start.
I say you can definitely buy that car for $33K to $33.5K.It's winter and the car is in Chicago.

How can the book value for both cars be the same? #1 has Lux Pkg and G-Spiders. That's over $6000 worth of options right there.

Just going off endmunds.com, #2 has lower miles and also sports pkg making it close but a little less (like 500 less maybe), hence the apporiximation symbol "~"

Ok wait, get what you want with the options you like reguardless of the price, better to pay alittle more for what YOU WANT than 'getting a better deal' for something you'll regret *even thou its such a fantastic car you'll forget all about the 'wanted this' part within the first wk*. There are times when money is no object, spending $35+k on a car is one of those times.

Thanks everyone, it looks like I am going to check out #2 tomorrow and most likely buy it.

In the end I think I just wanted sports pkg more, even tho lux pkg has some nice features. I was trying to convince myself i liked the wood trim and the g-spiders but I realized I really didn't.

Not to mention #2 is 5 hrs away vice #1 in chicago like 14 hrs or something. Anwyways, thanks everyone input was awesome!

Hopefully Ill be driven her home tomorrow cannot wait!

Hey everyone, thanks for the input. I took a one way ticket to Newark, NJ to pick my new whip! Number 2 is damn beautiful and drives like a dream. The car ride took about 7 hrs (i drank a few red bulls), but every minute was amazing. I have never owned a nice car, let alone one with an automatic and power windows. This is by far the nicest car I have ever had/driven, with maybe the best thing i have gotten behind the wheel of is a 02 M3.

Regardless thanks for the great forum and also the great input!

~~ One proud new owner, man my friend with the m3 is gonna be jealous!!!
