Just got this email from my dealer today ....... my IS350 has a build date of 02/06. The email doesn't state my VIN, but they would have it on file, naturally. So I guess my car is included.

Special Service Campaign (SSC) - 7LC (Safety Recall)
2006 GS 300 and IS 250/350 Fuel Pipe
On November 28, 2007, Lexus filed a Defect Information Report (DIR) with
the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) regarding
certain 2006 model year GS 300 and IS 250/350 vehicles. In the affected
vehicles, two specific fuel pipes located in the engine compartment may
have had high stress areas created in the pipes during the manufacturing
process. Combined with other factors such as the presence of corrosive
agents in fuel, a crack may form over time leading to fuel leakage.
The repair is expected to take up to approximately 3 hours and the fuel
pipes will be replaced at no charge.
Please contact your service advisor or the service department call center at 713-995-2650 for an appointment.

Guess I'm also in on the recall. I too am a Dec. 05 purchase.

i called lexus and the guy told me either of our IS got hit with this recall. We bought both of our cars in Dec of 05 and lexus told me the car was built Nov of 05. They said not all of the cars will get hit with this recall. I guess we are lucky,

I called Lexus today and asked about the recall. They said they would notify all owners who are affected within the next two weeks. You don't receive a notice your off the hook.

At first I tried to call Lexus corporate to see if they had my current address on file since my build date is Dec. 05. I got an automated message saying that all representatives were in a meeting (you mean lunch?
) until 1 p.m. At the time it was 1:30 p.m. so I guess they were running late. Well I decided to call my local Lexus dealer and they told me my 350 wasn't effected even though everything I read states that the dates range to Dec. 05.
