I guess I am a bit too nice...its not like she is going to race in it like some of my friends would haha... My parents/sibblings cars are of similar or higher value...
LOL I feel bad for this kid! All the replies he's getting is about the girl, not the car. I actually don't know if it's bad for the car of what she did. But long time ago, with my older car, I was on the highway going probably 70 mph shifted to neutral by accident, then without thinking I put it right back to "drive" but nothing happened nor damaged. So no pictures of the girl? Haha jk

The car has a warranty - threesome with your g/f and her hot friend is priceless and when the opportunity presents itself it should be acted upon accordingly. haha
Lol just make sure ur gf doesnt visit this forum.
To answer your question, it does strain the tranny when u kick it in from neutral at 5k rpm but it wont harm it doing once or twice. I screwed up my old car doing that once too often.
To the op. I did that on my car twice. Just some stupid experiment. Rev it at 3500 rpm and drop it into "D". After 10,000 miles, everything is still fine. Don`t break a sweat about it. This is not a honda autobox you know. Not to hate on Honda`s but Yeah I currently own an odyssey too. So any of you who owns a odyssey would know.
P.S I also let my under age sister drive my car too on an empty lot, and man that was a blast.
