I think it is great Lexus is FINALLY offering "F-Sport" (saki name). The only item that really has my interest is the X brace. Let's just see how much $$ Lexus will charge for this stuff.

BTW.... Joe Z deserves royalties!! Lexus is using the Joe Z intake. IMHO, I'd rather say, "Joe Z intake" as opposed to "F-Sport intake". "Joe Z sounds sexy-cool, "F-Sport", well, you know. Besides, the Joe Z intake will likley be 1/3rd the price of the F-Sport and just as good, if not better, quality.

Do you think there will be an substantial gains from the intake or about the same as the after market intakes???

most aftermarket intakes dont preserve the OEM airbox which takes air from outside the engine bay, OEM airbox + Joe Z is an improvement but the OEM airbox still has restriction to keep the noise down. F-Sport intake seems to have a less restrictive airbox + the JoeZ type pipe so it took care of two things. Plus I dont want those cone filters with a pipe one end for my car. That worked fine for the honda I used to have, but I dont want to do it to a lexus

Wait a tick...is the F sport intake really the Joe Z intake, or is it just similar.

Joe Z, are you able to comment...did they recruit you for the engineering???

with the less restrictive airbox you can probably get more gains than just JoeZ and OEM airbox alone. One reason Im interested in the F-Sport intake, I want to preserve the OEM "look" as much as I can. Hopefully a group buy comes out when these do come out (march?)

BTW - Comptech doesn't have a spoon feed from Honda these days. TRD has access to EVERYTHING, but won't deliver.
I agree 100%!!! Due to the problems with modifying the ECU (encryption), it would only make sense that TRD, who has access to all of the ECU info., would manufacture parts that boost HP!!!!
