Yes this happened to me last month. Funny thing was it didn't open when I used my right hand but always opened when I used my left. Then it started working okay again.
eBay is definitely the cheapest route, but if you need one in a hurry and don't have a battery specialty store nearby, you can find the battery in the parts department of Lexus, Toyota and Saab dealers. (The new Camry and Saab 9-5 both use the CR1632).

$100??? Well I had the same problem. Plus I changed the battery and the tech told me that the battery was low He changed it out for a new one for me anyways (free) But sometime I would still have the same problem. The only reason I could think that could be causing this is , maybe because I dynamat my whole lid where the factory sub goes. Could anyone tell me if the door sensor is located in that area?(sorry to lazy to look at the manual)
i've noticed that a couple of times.. now i've noticed that it saids Key Not Detected when inside the vehicle.. i move it around my pocket and it works again.. i guess it's time for new batteries..
